Naduska Samoyeds live in the village of Cuddington within the pretty countryside of Cheshire with ourselves, Pam and Ray Taylor. The kennel was founded in 1973 and we have successfully shown Sams since that date. Both of us judge the breed at Championship Show level and in 1997, Pam had the honour of judging Samoyeds at Crufts. We also judge internationally. Ray is Chairman of the Northern Samoyed Society and also represents the Society on the Samoyed Breed Liaison Council.
Pam is Secretary of the Northern Samoyed Society. - In 2004 Pam was appointed to the position of Breed Liaison Officer and served for in this capacity for 3 years. She is the author of The Samoyed Today which is on general sale worldwide. Together the idea of a Samoyed and Puppy of the Year was conceived. This is now become a very prestigious event hosted by the Northern Samoyed Society and judges are chosen from around the world. Since both of us were involved in the planning, it was thought unfair to show any of our dogs. However, Ch. Naduska Precious Panda, Naduska Pole Position and Vandreem Imperial Honor at Naduska have all qualified for this event over the years. Some years ago, two of our dogs appeared in the pantomime, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" at a theatre in Manchester. An experience they loved.
: On the 23rd June 2000, Pam spoke at the first ever Samoyed World Conference which was held in conjunction with the World Dog Show in Milan Being involved in the Samoyed Breed has enabled both of us to make new friends all over the world. Since we are both retired, we have much more time to devote to our dog activities. |
